    // RESPECT THE ROOTS

    FROM AMIGA ROOTS TO A NEW GENERATION

    The musical journeys of some of our founding members began in the 1990s, in Groningen, the Netherlands — making electronic music with Commodore Amiga computers, trackers and whatever equipment they could get their hands on.

    The technology changed. The music evolved. But the passion never disappeared. Those are individual musical roots, not a claim that the modern EarlyOGs collective was formally founded in the 1990s.

    Today, EarlyOGs connects those old-school roots with a next gen / new generation of DJs, producers and hardcore enthusiasts.

    We are not here to claim the history of gabber. We are here to celebrate it, contribute to it and keep the sound moving forward.

    RESPECT THE PIONEERS. SUPPORT THE NEXT GENERATION.

    The pioneers, DJs, producers, labels, sounds and technologies that shaped early hardcore belong to the history of the whole scene — not to us. OG means respect for roots, experience and mentality, not a membership qualification or a rank.
